Support for "A Story for Easter"
Jess Luthi of Affiliate Program Advice, made a great post late last week "A story for Easter" in which she highlights the need for networks to improve the communication channels between Affiliates and Merchants. I could not agree more with her, I think communication or the lack of, is one of the biggest drawbacks to using the networks. As I have discussed many times in the past with various networks, they always seem to have great excuses as to why they don't want to improve the communication channels, however, I never buy them. I wish the Networks could see, improving the Merchant and Affiliate communication channels, will not just benefit the Merchants and Affiliates but also the networks, the biggest being they will earn more revenue which they always seem to be after. As Jess points out, the majority of Merchants are not interested in scraping affiliate data, we are just interested in easily and quickly contacting with our Affiliates.
