A Refresher
For all of you of you long time affiliates I am going to give you a refresher on what tools and networks we work with, for all newbie’s this will help lift your campaigns to the next level, and for all you lurkers this will hopefully motivate you to get signed up with one of our programs.
Quick Tour
- Commission payout structure on all programmes a base tier of 5% ranging up to 7%
- We payout on all book sales up to $500 in value.
- We payout on unlimited transactions, that is a user comeback as many times as they like and will continue to credit your account for additional purchases the user makes.
Tools
- Affiliate Centre- This is our affiliate programme homebase, all levels of affiliates will find this a useful place to keep up to date with current promotions, types of creatives and general AbeBooks information. It has recently been redesigned let us know what you think.
- Search Server API/ Webservice- This is technical tool that allows you to display AbeBooks book information on your site. This is an intermediate to Advanced tool, you will definitely need some programming know-how when using it.
- Datafeeds- Yes, AbeBooks does have datafeeds, they are large and content rich, again, these are focused more on the intermediate user due to the fact that the feeds are generally in the range of 500,000 to 1 million products, with this size it is not possible to work with them in excel, all you access database masters will have no problem handling these.
- Deep Linking Tool- This is our entry level affiliate tool, it allows you to enter your search criteria and receive a link back that is coded with your affiliate tracking id, this works for great for users building out content sites.
